Rare Large Tintype African American or Mixed Race Girl 1800s Folk Art 5670 Both CDVs have a 2-centFull plate (about 8. 5" x 6. 5") hand painted tintype portrait of a young girl with long hair. She might have been African American, or perhaps a mixed race, or possibly even Mexican Hispanic. Tintype is in EXCELLENT antique condition with no bends or wear it would be tough to find a large loose tintype like this in better condition. The back is blank. 7890
