It is even better on an actual body and one of the best Trigere pieces I have seen

Curved patchwork in suede and buckskin crawl in large panels up the legs

The ties give you some control on how high the front sits

The bottom portion of the skirt picks on this same effect of the tops edging and it is finished with a full 17" panel of that wonderful fused glitter on net technique

You can see the influence of Haute Couture in this coat and it is a rare find - when this was made RTW did not yet mean mass produced

While we did not find a photo of this exact version we did find a photo from the ready to wear collection that shows a similar draping technique around the waist and I found his sketch of a dress from the Spring 1983 that is similar in feel. I have included a photo of the inner seams so you can see the Haute Couture level of workmanship.
