This amazing blazer was made from emerald green wool gabardine in the 1940s

Shoulders: 19” from edges of the huge shoulder pads

It was cut in a relaxed silhouette with a nipped waist and a flattering longer length allowing it to be worn tucked or untucked

there are functional pockets at the hip a a no a flattering back belt which adds an unusual design detail

The lining is discoloured

It was fashioned in classic 1930s style with a shallow crown and a wide brim which can be worn floppy or upturned on one side. A Petersham ribbon band adorns the crown and finishes in a bow. Inside, the hat features a satin band for comfort. Size: 21 The hat is in very good condition, with only some slight discolouration to the satin band inside as pictured.
