If I did not know the source of this top and the fact that it did indeed come from the same estate that many of the 1920s piece I am listing came from I would almost think it a later period

Couture level details abound - the buttons for example are all hidden under the front satin striping but when you look close you will see that is done in the proper dressmakers way with a double layer of fabric and one single stitch between each button hole along the entire row so it lies perfectly flat when worn

I love the subtle sexiness of the suit the "waved" front allows for a peek of skin to come through if you wish to wear it with nothing underneath. The pants have that amazing notched front to the their wide flared cut so when a girl walks you get a flash of shoe and ankle a classic Ossie
